WORKING EXPERIENCE (MONSANTO INDIA Ltd.)

I joined Monsanto India Ltd. on 10 Sep 2012 and working still now as a Research Associate in Line development Breeding and leave Monsanto on 7th Aug2015. My working experiences are given below:

Corn Breeding:

Designing and maintenance of F1 developmental crosses

Handling and maintenance of F2 and Screen1 and Screen2 nurseries

Highly involvement during making of ETR from F2.

Trial making for Screen1, Screen2 and other generations

Designing and maintenance of Isolation Crossing block for Screening1, Screenig2 and other generations.

Designing and handling of Diseases screening nursery for Stock rot, BLSB and other diseases.

Corn Testing:

Testing experience for different Seasons like Spring (Punjab), Wet (Punjab, HP, J&K, Rajasthan, MP, Gujarat), Dry season (Bihar).

Handling and maintenance of different trials like: Screeen1, Screen2, PCM1, PCM2,PCM3, DUS, RM and Disease trials

Currently handling testing for NWIR and NWRF segment for Punjab, HP and J&K.

Mechanized Testing:

Specialization in mechanized planting through Almaco row planter

Capturing all the data in Hand-held device

Experience of Harvesting and Shelling the trials through Manually and Mechanically through Wintersetiger Plot sheller

Cotton Breeding:

Trial Kit making of Line development and commercial breeding program for NWPZ.
