Ardent Credit Union is a full service member oriented financial institution. Founded in 1977 by the employees of Smith Klein Corporation, Ardent now serves the 5 county areas of Philadelphia, Bucks, Delaware, Chester & Montgomery in Pennsylvania. As Vice President of Business Development my role consists of interacting with Business Owners, CEO"s, CFO's, Human Resource Directors, and other C Suite level executives to bring Credit Union Services and Financial Wellness as a complimentary benefit to employees. Responsible for Branch Sales/Operations and Service. Oversee staff of 6 employees. Focus on developing Consumer and Small Business Banking relationships along with overall deposit & loan growth. Oversee all aspects of Profit / Loss Margin for the Branch. Develop marketing and community development strategy. Partner with Echo Partners within PNC Organization such as Wealth Management, Merchant Service, Small Business Banking and Commercial Banking, PNC Mortgage. Responsible for developing and maintaining all Small Business Banking Relationships within branch foot print. Manage a portfolio of over 200 clients. Work with Area Directors to develop strategy for branch network in regards to building pipelines, outbound activity, cold calling efforts and coaching for branch staff. Coached Branch Managers and Assistant Branch Managers to research branch Book of Business to seek internal opportunities.
