Objective: Training and Development Specialist

TRAINING / DEVELOPMENT:

Instruct and teach dental training staff in a train-the-trainer environment

Offer equipment and dental material specific training programs to help dental staff improve and maintain job skills

Develop and organize training procedure manuals, guides and course materials

Evaluate modes of training delivery; such as in-person or virtual to optimize training effectiveness

Demonstrate and explain the use of dental equipment and production process

Update the content of educational programs to ensure that staff are being trained with equipment processes that are technologically current

Manage production and design of curriculum materials

Notify administrative staff on curriculum development and use of materials and equipment

Attend meetings, seminars and meet with manufacturer representatives to obtain up to date information for use in training programs

Inform management of trainings attended and how that information will be utilized within their practices

Inspect instructional equipment to determine if repairs are needed and notify Administrative Manager of necessary repairs
