Key Accountabilities:

Project Planning & Management

•Managing electrical project activities involving working out various requirements with respect to utilities, machines, manpower & monitoring overall project operations for ensuring timely completion.

•Ensuring that site operations are carried out smoothly with Industrial Electrification, Installation and Testing & Commissioning operations.

•Planning of machinery, manpower, materials & money; dealing with consultants/ licensors/ statutory bodies for compliance of requirements.

•Liaising with TNEB for Power connections.

•Coordinating with consultant for drawing delivery and managing site progress and site staff.

•Reviewing the BOQ & Tender.

•Controlling electrical related inventory along with carrying R.A. Bill Certification work.

•Preparing work program schedules and quantification future projects.

Operations & Maintenance

•Planning & implementing the preventive & predictive maintenance schedules for improving the overall reliability and safety of plant equipments & machinery.

•Overseeing the installation & maintenance of distribution transformer sub-stations, A.C. Generators, Motors and domestic & Industrial Wiring.

•Assuring repairs, manufacturing, refurbishment & overhauling of Power, Furnace & Generators.

•Preparing system based documentation and conducting analysis of different maintenance data to reduce the cost of maintenance.

•Reviewing history records of key machines for repeated breakdowns to analysis and carrying out necessary corrective actions.

•Organizing activities for continual improvement & working towards cost reduction activities.

•Handling the maintenance work carried out for Transformer, ACB, Switchboard and other electrical work.

•Managing the entire electrification work carried out for our 2nd and 3rd unit.

•Making periodic schedules for plant machine maintenance and other utility such as Gensets, A/C and compressor are carried out on regular basis.

Erection & Commissioning

•Commissioning equipment related to final finish area.

•Supporting for erection and commissioning of new machines.

•Executing troubleshooting & fault finding of Power transformers.

•Anchoring erection & commissioning of machines & equipments and ensuring completion of project in minimum turnaround time effective resource utilisation to maximise the output.

•Overseeing installation & commissioning & conducting tests & inspections to ensure operational effectiveness of utilities.

•Liaising with Chief Electrical Inspector to Government of Tamilnadu office for drawing approval and safety certificate.

•Handling the erection of Transformer, ACB & OCB, and D.G. sets, Lighting Circuits, UG cable, Panel Boards and high rise lighting pole.
