Participated in the design and development of Java / XML based Auto Audit Sentry application. This application automated the screening of medical insurance claims against a set of 50 rules. Created hierarchical structure for the rule’s Java classes based on their functionality to allow code sharing and coded numerous Java Classes to implement individual rules. Designed relational clinical codes tables structure used by various rules and stored as XML files.

Developed Java prototype to evaluate performance and feasibility of using Java as a base

Language for the new system:

-Wrote Java simulation for the old DOS/Pascal based Auto Audit application.

-Developed design concepts to ensure Java/XML based system performance was comparable with the old DOS/Pascal application.
