JOB KNOWLADGE :

Responsibilities

Inspecting and releasing vacant, Departure, occupied, out of service and out of order rooms

Training & Assessment of new associates, quality of service delivery, setting up daily, weekly and Monthly Training Plan, receiving quotations, frequently test new products and materials to find better ways to do the job, to meet with guests to handle complaints and requests, and to work closely with other department heads to ensure a seamless experience for our customers, recruiting and disciplining associates, fostering, scheduling vacation, Linen inventory, Performance appraisal, Manage P&L expenses are in line with occupancy / budget, investigates discrepancies, Inspects all Housekeeping areas on a regular basis to ensure furnishing, facilities and equipment are clean and in good repair, well maintained and replaced / refurbished as required and Acts on behalf of the Executive Housekeeper in his absence as assigned.

Control Desk-Managing the ‘Nerve Centre’ of the department

Supervise the cleaning of guest rooms and public areas

Attend daily meetings and follow up on the departmental reports logbooks and any other special instructions.

Communication with all departments – interact with the departments

such as Front Office, Laundry and Food and Beverage

Follow up on maintenance of all housekeeping equipment to ensure

proper functioning

Supervise extra cleaning like Marble polishing, wooden floor polishing,

Carpet shampooing, spring cleaning of Rooms

Supervise Flower room,Linen room and Uniform room

Shift In charge in the absence of Housekeeping Managers

Prepare weekly duty roster depends hotel occupancy

Handling Lost and Found issues with guest
