Responsible for the preparation of monthly financial statements. Prepare variance analysis reports for each department and highlight potential areas of concern. Coordinate the annual audit and tax returns with outside auditors, including 5500 filings.

Prepare daily sales/labor flash report and identify trends for projected actual against budget.

Central focus point for annual operating and capital budgets. Compile historical data exposing and analyzing budget trends. Work with the various departments providing historical data and labor and other data as requested to assist with their budgets.

Monitor the daily cash activities of the club’s operating and capital accounts, including monitoring line of credit loan draws and repayments. Provide weekly cash flow reports for both operating and capital needs.

Responsible for all HR responsibilities. Includes administration of the club’s 401k pension plan, Section 125 health insurance plans and workers compensation plans.

Established and maintain banking relationships, established capital budgets and coordinated bank debt refinancing for expansion of clubhouse and golf course amenities.

Obtained bank financing for a $3.5 million clubhouse renovation in 2009.

Revised and modernized accounting practices and procedures including orchestrating the club’s software conversion to Jonas Club Software including financial reporting, club management and POS systems. Directed the club’s annual financial statement reviews and instituted new internal controls.

Managed the financial side of several major capital improvement projects to the clubhouse and golf course and range.
