- Re-initiated trade relations between MAN Ferrostaal Metals GmbH and Egyptian Iron & Steel after 4 years of non- interacting due to a financial argument on the senior management level and very bad terms.
- Sold first 2,000 MT of steel plates Ex Ilyich of Mariupol to OCI after 5 years of no deals with Ferrostaal.
- Exported the first 2000 MT of Steel Sections from Egyptian Iron & Steel into Germany after 10 years stoppage.
- Arranged for Egyptian Iron & Steel Company to acquire the CE mark through our representatives in Germany.
- Given the green light exception by Ferrostaal Metals GmbH CEO to outsource material and negotiate prices directly with Global Steel Suppliers instead of working through the Germany Hub.
- Established contact with Hyundai Steel Regional General Manager for Europe & Middle East after four years of not answering any queries or Emails from Ferrostaal Germany.
- Arranged for a visit to Egypt, and met with Regional Manager of Hyundai Steel; introduced him to General Manager and a later to group of clients.
- Introduced Regional Manager of Hyundai Steel to MAN Ferrostaal CEO in Germany to establish orders into Europe as well.
- Had verbal agreement from OCI to have exclusive deals with Hyundai Steel through Ferrostaal, after having been working directly with each other.
- Abuzaabal steel mill; arranged for Head of MAN Ferrostaal Flat & Special Steel Departments, 3 visits for exporting plates & special steel they manufacture for cannons. Arranged for a visit of one of the biggest buyers in Germany visited the mill and negotiated yearly purchase plans. Negotiated a deal to work Slabs for Plates ex Abuzaabal Military Factory into Europe.
- Sold about 20,000 MT of Hyundai Steel Heavy Beams & Sections into Egypt in one year.
- Sold about 25,000 MT of steel plates of Ilyich material into Egypt in 18 months.
- Handled Egyptian customers touring Europe, visiting HQ for meetings, planning yearly purchases, visiting steel mills, business dinners, as well as satisfying their needs for other imports like refurbished trucks. Toured Germany, France, Belgium, and Holland by car taking clients to producers, stockiest, business dinners, and entertainment.
- Represented MAN Ferrostaal Egypt in a five day Power workshop to discuss Egypt’s statistics for power plants, potential for selling solar & Thermal Power Plants to Egypt, including Senior Management Meetings discussions,
brainstorming & Country Presentations.
- Prepared Strategic Plan for selling solar and steam power stations into Egypt, and meeting with Officials from Ministry of Power & Electricity as well as major contracting companies to study comprehensively the different factors that affect participating in supplying power stations to Egypt, including renewable energy power plants.
- Negotiated with a group of American Investors moving a 500 million dollar aluminum plant from Hamburg to Egypt.
- Arranged visits with Minister of Investment, Minister of Industry, and Minister of Electricity. Price of Electricity was unfeasible, project rejected at the last stage in Ministry of Electricity.

- Hired as Junior Trader in Egypt Office
- Shipped 65,000 MT of steel, practically as part of my shipping training. In Mill Yards, handling 25 trucks per shipment, working on trucks, in vessel holds, with vessel masters, working around the clock for sometimes two weeks with only four hour breaks a day.
- Lectured about steel, steel in Egypt, the steel making processes, and steel mills, by the Head of Metallurgy Department in Cairo University & his assistants.
- Visited production lines of every single steel mill in Egypt, preparing detailed reports of every single detail from input stage until shipping yards.
- Studied, revised, and applied Letters of Credit, and other payment options, for local buyers, and foreign sellers.
- Maintained daily contact by phones Emails, and faxes with our representative offices abroad in Moscow, Italy, London, Germany, France, South Africa, Spain, India, USA, Dubai, and Saudi Arabia. Checking for inquiries or material to sell in the Middle East.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Port Procedures, and

- Negotiated with El Nasr Company for Coke & Chemicals a deal to supply Coal for Coking Coal with a low profit margin in exchange for refurbishing one of their coke batteries. And Arranged Contracts and Chairman Meetings, besides
touring the whole facility production processes from input of coking coal until being coked in the silverfish colour, with reports also about the battery that needed maintenance and cost negotiations.
