Key responsibilities:
Planning and execution of works as per design and drawing.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensures that all pits, stockpiles, waste dumps, roads and other infrastructures are surveyed to update mine plans.
Setting out of mine design pegs to achieve mine parameters.
Setting out road design pegs to achieve road layout.
Survey of stockpiles to determine volumes.
Setting out edge of blast pegs to ensure accuracy in Drilling.
Ensures that demarcations of Drill & Blast patterns are in conformity with blast designs and also to achieve required drill depths.
Carry out prism monitoring to determine ground or wall movements.
Survey of solution ponds to determine volumes at month end.

Establishment of temporary bench marks to check mining floor level.
Drill hole pickups for blast volume estimation.
Carrying out deformation measurement of mining structures and wall checkups.

Creating and updating of DTM for all pits.
Preparation of drill pattern plans to aid drillers in drilling to the right depth and by so doing preventing the creation of toes after blasting.
