MANAGEMENT SYSTEM INTERNATIONAL (MSI)

Dear Sir,

I’m excited to apply for the post of Communications Specialist, Power Africa, Nigeria.

Management System International (MSI) has become the most respected and widely international development firm, which has been helping to deliver development results across the developing world.

The commitment of the MSI to the sustainable development of Sub Saharan Africa and indeed the coming of Power Africa to Nigeria is something I admired. I’d loved to bring this enthusiasm, along with my relevant experience to MSI and the Power Africa, Nigeria.

Since 2001, I have been in active journalism practice, first with Daily Times of Nigeria, publisher of Daily Times newspaper and Independent Communication Network Limited (ICNL), publisher of P.M.NEWS, a Lagos-based evening tabloid and TheNEWS, a leading Nigerian weekly news magazine, my ultimate aim is to work in an organisation where my skills, training and experience can be effectively utilised with opportunity for growth.

As a Reporter/Researcher in Daily Times (2001-2005), my daily routines essentially included news gathering and reporting. I joined P.M.NEWS/TheNEWS as a Reporter in 2005 where I rose up the ladder to become Deputy Editor before I left for P.M. EXPRESS.

Apart from working on the production of hard copies of P.M.NEWS/TheNEWS, my daily routines still extend to constant provision of contents to the websites of P.M.NEWS- www.pmnewsnigeria.com and TheNEWS- www.thenewsnigeria.com.ng on 24/7 basis, and now P.M. EXPRESS.

I strongly believe I can add values to the overall goals of MSI and Power Africa, Nigeria, contributing to providing sustainable economic growth and development for the Nigerian people.

Please find attached a copy of my Resume which contains other details of my background.

I’m looking forward to hearing from you.

Sincerely,

Adelu Samson Taiwo
