Supervised engineering product changes related to electromechanical switches. Created bill of materials and costing for new HVAC and industrial refrigeration component models. Designed welding, soldering and brazing specifications in compliance with ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code Section IX for European market. Led equipment purchase, lab technician training, design and test scheduling related to endurance, UL, CSA, ASTM, PED (Pressure Equipment Directives).

Proven knowledge of PED brazing procedure qualifications, performance, specifications, and processes, as well as filler metals, base metals, and qualification variables.

Key member of Continuous Improvement, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma and VA/VE (Value Analysis and Value Engineering teams.

Improved existing designs by identifying component, assembly, and performance problems and developing solutions. Implemented temporary deviation when processes or components did not meet specifications.
