It features construction of 11 km. of 6 lane of Hwy 401 freeway, 4 lane service road network, 15 bridge structures and 11 tunnels covering 1.8km. of freeway, 20 km. of recreational trails, 12 kms. of watermains, 5 pumping stations, 2 Siphons, 3 big culverts, storm water management facilities including sewers and SWM ponds, ATMS and roadway lighting, extensive landscaping and special linkages to wildlife; Project cost : $ 1.4B .
Compliance checking of highway/road construction including bridges and tunnels, drainage structures, watermains and pumping stations, traffic signs and intersections, pavement markings, ATMS and VMS, snake fence, trails and trail bridges, and landscaping.
Document and monitor operations and performance of contractors ensuring proper construction methods; plans and specifications are followed and met including quality control and safe worksite
Attend Walk-Throughs to ensure finished product meet PA (Project Agreement), contract documents and MTO design specifications and applicable OPSS/OPSD
