Supervisor Radiation Therapy: Administers, implements and improves departmental policies. Maintain staff schedules and evaluates staffing levels and trains employees to meet standards of performance. Works closely with the Radiation Oncologist/Physicist & Dosimetrist to provide high quality patient care. Helps in the development of Quality Control and Continuous Quality Improvement programs. Works closely with the Chief of Radiation Oncology and A/O to organize, plan & implement system changes, departmental improvements and annual goals. Organizes therapy staff meetings, attends Monthly Departmental Staff meeting, M&M Conference, & Supervisory Meetings. Performs Ct simulations and administers radiation therapy accordingly. Served as interim Administrative Officer for Radiation oncology and interim Dosimetrist.

2006 Sept-2013 Feb: FT-40 hrs./wk Cancer Care Center of South Texas: San Antonio, TX

Dosimetrist ( 2008- present ) Responsible for contouring & treatment planning of 2D/3D and IMRT treatment plans and electron therapy, fusion of CT, MRI and PET scans. Communicating with staff of difficult setups and changes on treatment plans. Working closely with Physician/ Physics and staff. Knowledgeable in billing and coding ( ICD-9) for Dosimetry, Therapy, CT and Physician charges, weekly chart reviews, organizes monthly staff meetings and participates in monthly Physics Meetings and Lead Therapist Meetings, performs CT simulation and administers radiation therapy as needed
