An IT professional with a degree in Computer Engineering seeking IT challenges and role in R&D, Software Development, Deployment, Integration and migration of enterprise tools/systems. I have completed and was involved in multiple projects for Ubiquitous Computing Laboratory on my University. I am exposed to different Operating Systems (i.e. Linux, Mac and Windows). I can easily adapt to different types of high level programming languages since I have developed strong foundation in utilizing C and C
++ programming language. I also have deep understanding and capabilities in low level programming with different types of hardware architecture. In reference to my ability to develop using low level programming I am able to program devices to interface with one another (IOT) some of which include Arduino, Raspberry PI, Wizzikit, MSP 430 and Contiki OS. In addition I am able to design and develop website(s) and android applications. Lastly I have substantial knowledge on hardware programming (Verilog, VHDL) and can simulate and debug using Xilinx.
I've completed my OJT with MERALCO Philippines (the only electric power distributor in the country's capital), where I was tasked to improve their MoVE application, design and think of additional functionalities. I was also tasked to create the IT team's internal website using Wordpress, then mixed and used Php, Mysql and Wamp server to tweak the design of the website for a better UI/UX. My Undergraduate Thesis is about the feasibility of using RSSI signal as a means of locating objects in a wireless mesh network using the Dash 7 Protocol. This further improved and enhance my deeper understanding on IOT and low-level programming skills. Willing to relocate: Anywhere
WORK EXPERIENCE
Software Engineer
Ubiquitous Computing Laboratory - January 2016 to May 2016 Developed the android application "Ellie: Your Smart Home Assistant Application." It can communicate to the home-grown smart plug using a raspberry-pi as a hub. It shows the different statistics (power consumed, monetary value, etc) and a list of devices that are connected. It could remotely turn on or off any smart plug via a routine or manually.
Wireless Communications Researcher
UP Bike Share - June 2015 to May 2016
Research about the feasibility of using RSSI and Dash 7 protocol in tracking bikes inside the Campus. Using 3 base stations, cluster heads and member nodes, we were able to give the coordinates of a specific bike in the test site with a 2 meter accuracy.
Software Developer
Ubiquitous Computing Laboratory - January 2015 to January 2016 Created a C library for floating point calculations of the Smart Wire project. This library is presented at the 8th AUN/SEED-NET an international convention for research and publications for South East Asia. CIT associate (OJT)
Ubiquitous Computing Laboratory - June 2015 to July 2015 My team designed, improved and developed a new MoVE (Meralco Virtual Engine) application using HTML 5, CSS, Angular JS and IBM's Mobile First.
I developed the team's internal website using wordpress, PHP, HTML, CSS, Wamp and MySQL. Student Assistant
Ubiquitous Computing Laboratory - January 2015 to June 2015 Taught college freshmen engineering students about C programming. Gave lab exercises and machine problems. I also checked and recorded different these lab exercises and exams. EDUCATION

Modified IEEE 754 unsigned half-precision floating point library for constrained memory systems
November 2015
Most constrained memory systems can not compute or even accommodate floating point values. This is why my partner and I was tasked to create a C library for Contiki OS to support floating point algorithms, in order to help the SmartWire project. I personally presented this study at the 8th AUN/SEED-Net RCEEE Conference. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
