Fulfilled a critical role performing a broad array of Property & Casualty Insurance business analysis responsibilities at this multibillion dollar insurance corporation, with a focus on the management of Intra-company and Inter-company Reconciliations to address large variances. Compiled and produced a broad spectrum of reports to satisfy ad hoc requests from management and executive leadership.
Sharepoint was the workflow tool used. This medium provided a centralized location for the sharing of documentation, real-time form completion/interaction, prompting required action via email alerts, and enabling approvals by various levels. As the Business Analyst and power user of Sharepoint, I was involved in the customization of the Intercompany Reconciliation pages (workflow) and assisting the end-users with the user documentation and training required to use this application.
Key Accomplishments
Provided key support to the extended offshore FC team following the transition of the majority of daily reconciliation functions to that group; spearheaded 24/7 support of international entities, addressing and resolving issues affecting balance reporting, engagements with counterparties, Microsoft SharePoint adjustments, and the Balance Confirmation/IMR Feedback Process.
Prepared test cases and led UAT testing of systems changes dependent on the SCH13 application, the addition of new accounts, or changes to existing intercompany accounts or functionality affecting the intercompany process within the OneFDC system.
