My job at FCI involves approving First Piece and Final Inspection of Industrial, after market Bottling and Packaging parts from metals, plastics and other non ferrous materials for electronics industries using CNC Turning, Milling, silk screening and other processes.

During the short period of my employment I created an In Process inspection procedure with Flow Chart and assisted my supervisor in improving their current Inspection Form and provided many suggestions to improve the Job Traveler.

FCI was recently acquired by Bevcorp LLC of Willoughby- Ohio, a subsidiary of Emprotech Corporation and is in the process of implementing their management philosophy and systems and I was hired to assist in their efforts in improving their quality control functions.

(Worked at HyComp INC.)

My job at HyComp involved calibrations of over 1600 employee and Company tools and gages using GagePack software, Parts inspection and Gage R&R studies and conducting special studies for Quality Manager. I also introduced new Mueller gages to facilitate more accurate hole measurements with tolerances of +/- .0005”. All thread gages were put in HyComp AutoCrib so each employee will issue and return against his name instead of no formal system of issue and return. Duplicate critical and often used gages were ordered to ensure one gage was always in house when other was sent for outside Calibration.

I was able to train a new employee in doing Ballooning and was assigned to re-activate GAGEtrak Calibration software for all Inspection Room Gages after a lapse of two years. I also trained the same employee in GAGEtrak while I continued assisting Inspection Department in First Article, In-Process and Final Inspections.

From April 2013, I was assigned as a Team Leader to implement IQ/OQ/PQ Installation Protocols and from July 2013, I was selected to work as lead TEAM member for ISO 13485 Certification Project closely involved with making changes to ISO 9001-2008 Quality Manual, Procedures and Work Instructions including various flow charts using Smart Draw with the involvement of an outside Consultant, Company President and Quality Assurance Manager.

Traits observed by Superiors/Co-workers:

Once I have gone through the basic orientation at a new place of work, I can work independently without much supervision. I have been observed by my superiors and co-workers to be very organized and detail oriented, thorough and accurate in my work and a meticulous record keeper. My reviews mostly were as meeting or exceeding expectations

I can communicate verbally and in writing all across the organization in a persuasive manner using facts both in positive and negative situations.

I have been seen as someone who looks for ways to improve on how we do things for reducing costs by eliminating or reducing scrap/rework at different stages of manufacturing.

I am open to others’ views and welcome feedback and contribute to and support everyone to succeed as a TEAM as I am a firm believer in “Together Everyone Achieves More”.
