US Foods – Supervisor

(S eptember 2000 July 2016):

As a supervisor I managed approximately 23 people and was responsible for the day to day operation in the recieving and sanitation departments. This includes working closely with buyers, salesmen, vendors, brokers, and trucklines, in order to complete daily tasks in an effecient and timely manner to meet customer and interdepartmental needs . I was also responsible for ensuring that we passed all audits including audits by USDA, FDA, Global Food Saftey, and customers/buyers. I maintained HACCP records for seafood and sanitation. My division has been top 4 out of 63 divisions for for over 12 years in productivity and effeciency.

Advance Auto: Supervisor, Stocker, Recieving, and Inventory September 1987 September 2000

I worked in replinishent stocking shelves with a cherry picker and reach truck to maintain store serive levels at or above 97%. I worked in Inventory to help maintain accuracy of productin the warehouse to avoid markouts. I also worked in the recieving department unloading trucks and recieving inbound inventory and freight. As a supervisor in the recieving department I was responsible for effeciently recieving inbound inventory and freight daiy so that order fill rate was always at least at 97%. I was responsible for the training and coaching of all employees in order to meet all of the company’s goals.
