responsible for functional and technical aspects of implementation and/or upgrades of HR/Payroll modules to include process testing and technical problem solving; for resolving any daily issues that arise in the production environment and requesting technical support from proper resources for those issues that go beyond the functional realm. Administer access control processes which includes rights for accessing permissions and roles or other technologies by adding or removing access user names from access control lists to ensure and maintain the integrity of and safeguard information on the HR side. Acts as a liaison between the functional (HR) and technical areas (IT) to make sure that lines of communication are kept open and all issues reported clearly and in a timely manner; and works directly with the central technology department systems analysts and DBAs to solve critical system issues. Submits cases with Oracle Customer Connection and maintains discussions with user groups utilizing similar enterprises systems to help resolve issues in the USM HR/Payroll system. Manage quality and analyze data within a Linux and Oracle environment ensuring team of data analysts provides information necessary for smooth operations of the OTI/SKYLLA Naval Oceanographic Office. Train and be a resource for data analysts I and II. Maintain large data volumes and complete archiving of all data. Process navigation and GPS data. Organize process and analyze bathymetric LiDAR data and imagery. Edit processed LiDAR data sets. Document data issues. Identify issues with the sensors. Assist NAVO and other clients with data processing. Create coverage graphics and other final products as required. Provide data acquisition as backup to field employees. Other duties as assigned.

Build databases using a GUI (Graphical User Interface) and command scripts for intake and extraction of bathymetric and hydrographic data which is then processed for productive utilization.

Examine, evaluate, and compare bathymetric datasets for quality and precision using mathematical computations to create a null residual value.
