IT Project Manager/Release Manager Oct 2015-April 2016
As one of the Technical PM’s worked on multiple projects facilitating the transition of seven million customers to Frontier FIOS.
Performed direct interfacing with the development and testing teams (billing systems). Discussed defects, scheduling of defect resolution. Also had responsibilities in reporting the readiness for implementation purposes. The methodology used was Waterfall. Directly interfacing with the development team, testing team and Enterprise Release team for my business (International Trade).
Facilitated meetings, created project plans and monitored the progress of the different components of the broader project utilizing Verizon’s project tools.
Interfaced with technical development and testing teams both in the U.S and offshore (India) on multiple projects running concurrently.
Created team level management reports which was done at a team level, and direct reporting per project.
Aided in the facilitation of two mock cut-overs along with the main cut-over
