To Whom It May Concern;
I am writing in response to your Nurse Practitioner position, recently posted online. I am a recent graduate from the Regis College NP program just outside Boston, MA with a specialty in Adult/Geriatrics. I have clinical experience working in assisted living and long term care as well as clinic settings. As a resident of St. Louis for 24 years, I am committed to returning to the Saint Louis area to serve the health care needs in my community.
To supplement my education as a graduate student at Regis College, I had training and clinical experience with the adult and geriatric populations. My clinical experience and education enable me to triage patients, conduct patient interviews, propose diagnosis and treatment plans and make referrals for patients who need ongoing specialized or emergency care. What I value most about my role as a Nurse Practitioner is the opportunity to work in collaboration with other health care professionals, patients and caregivers. Regis College has provided me with strong clinical and critical thinking skills as well as the evidence based foundation necessary for a successful career as a Certified Nurse Practitioner. The opportunity to apply my skills and experiences gained through my NP education is an exciting prospect.
I believe that I would make a positive contribution to your organization. I look forward to the opportunity to discuss possible employment opportunities with you. Sincerely,
Carley McCloud
