PROFESSIONAL INFORMATION

Business & Government Coordinator of Operations Verizon Wireless Nov '00 - Aug '15 (14Years, 9Months) Hilliard, OH

I assisted C2B B2B customers on small medium and large businesses as well as federal and government accounts. I supported our internal and external sales teams with online support order support and equipment support. I created business profiles for customers with five wireless lines or more, applied proper codes and discounts, ordered equipment, inbound and outbound calling, ran account analysis, equipment and billing reports, billing research and credit adjustments, international support and recommendations in regards to data text and voice options based on customer’s destination.

I performed fraud investigations in association with USPS, FEDEX, AND UPS, a lot of the research was proactive based off experience and some notifications were brought to my attention via customer calls thru email order verification or online chat sessions.

I was responsible for the direct oversight and care of multiple clients with over 10,000 voice and data lines in association with my regular work duties and stats.

I had complete ownership of all mail correspondences sent our corporate office in Dublin and Hilliard for 8 years for the entire Midwest. I sorted thru each piece of mail whether consumer or business and either resolved the issue or concern by routing to appropriate department and area, or accessed customers’ accounts to make the necessary adjustments, updates and changes myself. All resolutions were confirmed by me by way of phone, fax and or email if applicable. This separate duty could entail anywhere from 100-200 pieces a week.

In addition to these duties I took on running a hotline for five years where I supported our internal customers (Business Account Executives), whenever orders would error out in their portal with no support from our IT department or any kind of guideline error code logsheet. This was my proudest accomplishment given it was a backend system issue on which I was never trained or had any previous knowledge of, which enhanced my hands on skills. I can proudly say I had about a 99% success ratio, and those that I could not resolve, the sales team just had to process the order again.

Customer Service Representative Adecco USA Jul '00 - Nov '00 (4 Months) Hilliard, OH

I handled inbound consumer calls where I would assist with everything from wireless service issues, billing issues, explaining invoices, ordering devices and accessories, to equipment trouble shooting.

Technical Support Representative Xerox Corporation Jan '99 - May '00 (1 Year, 4 Months) 2155 Schrock Road

I was responsible for providing the field technicians on each inbound call with the description of the customers’ equipment problem, the parts needed, and the location and contact information for the customer. The average calls were around 50-60 a day, which included customers as well.

Picker, Straddle Operator Marriott Inc Aug '98 - Nov '99 (1 Year, 3 Months) Alum Creek Drive

Filled orders for companies such as Boston market, Hardee's and Frisch’s Big Boy and other small grocery chains. After completion of orders I was responsible for stocking locations with full pallets of items for next day work orders.

Helper Loader Big Bear Co. Aug '92 - Apr '96 (3 Years, 8 Months) Goodale Ave.

I was responsible for loading semi-trailers with frozen food pallets first, then blocking off cabin with pad and paper stuffing to allow for temperature controlled environment so perishable pallets and meat could be loaded. Once trailer was full with proper order of store locations I would sometimes assist peers and then move on to new trailers. A lot of pallets had to be broken down with forklifts and straddles due to the height selectors would build them to.

CERTIFICATIONS & LICENSES

Forklift, reach truck, straddle operator, and electric pallet jack operator Aug '92 OHSA Certified from August 1992 thru December 1998

VOLUNTEERING & CAUSES

Gahanna YMCA Volunteer Jul '14 - Oct '14

Helped with every Wednesday cleaning of facility and equipment. I also assisted in the complete renovation of the entire facility from power washing floors to painting of pool area locker rooms and specialty rooms. Landscaping and replacement of trash bags and lighting inserts. I am in the process now of getting involved with habitat for humanity, and soon would like to involve my kids in visiting children's hospital one day a week to visit kids and families needing support. I also donate to the Mid-Ohio food bank.

MY BEYOND MOMENT

In the wireless industry there are what the experts call KPI's (KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS), such as Churn, Revenue, Attendance, Quality, Efficiency, and Fraud Prevention. I was part of a team that was number one quarter after quarter for five years straight nationwide. This included multiple call centers from each area/region; The South area, Northeast area, West area, and my department the Midwest area. We would go on to win several more years’ worth of awards saving the company millions of dollars per quarter over the next 8 years.

AWARDS & HONORS

SPARTAN Jul '15 Verizon Wireless

The SPARTAN award is handed out in increments of 100 days entailing the successful completion of quality assurance monitored email communications of which no mistakes were made. This process requires a separate department to thoroughly audit random work we have processed from orders to technical support, to account maintenance, to reporting and analysis, to treasurers inquires, to fraud investigation. The average email work is around 25-30 a day four to five days a week for the month. The audits are 8 a month plus peer to peer and some require managers to audit four. I am proud to say that over a three-year period of time, I made only two mistakes going 450 days before resigning.

EXPLANATION FOR GAP IN EMPLOYMENT:

I wanted to take some time off to decide what industry I wanted to have a career in. During this time, I lost my eldest niece, and from there did some freelance work with my father and ventures into Telecommuting opportunities while being a work from home father. This plan did not turn out to be the path that I wanted to go and decided I would search for a company with high standards, brand name, high integrity, respected by its employees, offering good pay, healthy environment and good benefits to allow me to climb the ladder towards a great career. I decided on light industrial, manufacturing, and production since I have a wealth of experience and knowledge along with a natural understanding and attraction to logistics. I would love to go back to school to obtain a degree and if schedule and benefits allow I will pursue this path.
