DUTIES.
Responsible for the develop, design, implementation, communication, and coordination of all environmental, health, and safety programs (According to OHSAS 18001) for the organization. Also responsible for maintaining safe operations by conducting inspections, performing safety/health training, investigating accidents, and improving safety preparedness and awareness under company s SHE policies and procedures such as:
Safety program design and implementation for engineering projects.
Permit to Work, Environmental Management System, Systems Auditing, Emergency Response, Performance
Management, and Behavioral Based Safety.
Development of Unit SHE goals and targets to effectively eliminate injuries to personnel
Familiar with relevant government regulations (OHSA 510 Construction)
Conduct incident investigations, compile findings, summarize information to determine cause, and provide
recommendations necessary for the prevention of further incidents
Familiar with risk analysis/potential models and classifications
Familiar with management systems such as ISM, ISO 9001. 14001. OHSAS 18001
