2000-2008, researcher and writer for Calvert D. Crary
Mr. Crary’s newsletter, Litigation Notes, analyzed corporate lawsuits and predicted how courts would adjudicate. Subscribers would buy and sell stock based on his recommendations.
As researcher I investigated and wrote summaries for his newsletter:
The tobacco industry which had the seven heads of the cigarette companies on trial for the health hazards;
Microsoft which was being sued in federal court for monopolizing the industry with Microsoft Office;
Pulled patents on new medicines, Mr. Crary would recommend buys or sells.

Worked as a researcher, producer, and news writer for Special Edition.
Covered Pope John Paul II on his visit to New York in 1979. I did the research for our on-air commentator Charlene Hunter Gault.
Covered the United Nations debates on the Russian invasion of Afghanistan;
Produced a segment on George W. Wingate High School, Brooklyn, NY, which had been transformed by a new principal. Prior to this new principal taking over Wingate, it was the most crime-ridden school in the NYC system. After his approach over 75 percent of the graduates went on to higher education;
Did preliminary interviews with guests and gave our on-air host, Marilyn Berger, lists of questions and follow-ups to enhance her interview.
1980-2000 privately tutored 14 students in Cross River, New York; in english, biology, writing, and social studies; three of my students attended Ivy League universities.
