PROJECTS

Title: Design and Verification of On-Chip AHB to APB Bridge. EDA tools used: Cadence Encounter.

Description: The Advanced Microcontroller Bus Architecture (AMBA) is an on-chip bus architecture used to strengthen the reusability of IP core and widely used interconnection standard for system on chip (SOC). The aim of this project is to synthesize and simulate a complex interface bridge between Advanced High performance Bus (AHB) and Advanced Peripheral Bus (APB) known as AHB to APB Bridge. Synthesized Net list of Bridge module is generated to perform Functional and Timing Simulation using Cadence RTL Compiler. Duration: 6 months.

Title: Smart Energy Meter.

Software tools used: Keil.

Description: Smart Energy Meter using ZigBee technology creates an advanced energy meter that measures the energy consumption of a consumer and provides added information to the utility by using a two-way communication scheme.

Duration: 6 months.

Title: Design and Implementation Basic Gates and 6T SRAM in 32nm FinFET. EDA tools used: Synopsys HSPICE, Synopsys cosmos scope. Description: In CMOS circuits by varying the width and length of the gate it can be seen that the static and dynamic responses obtained are too large. The gate length can be decreased to get a better response for a given CMOS circuit therefore the gate length was decreased from 180nm to 120nm and then to 70nm and to so on till 32nm, but the length of the gate cannot be decreased below that since the gate becomes so less in length and the source and drain of a CMOS will be shorted. In order to overcome this problem we introduce FINFET technology Duration: 6 months.

Project Title: Design and develop of membrane Coating machine. Description: Here I learnt complete Product Development Process. The project was to design and develop automated membrane coating machine, which can take the input manually from teach pendant or from USB and draw the required pattern uniformly on the nafion material. Duration: 6 months.
