ROLES AND RESPONSILBLITIES:

Responsible for the general well-being and upkeep of Stocks of the Section or Agencies assigned.

Ensures the loading & unloading of goods and subsequent arrangement of stocks in his section as per the norms of storage.

Ensures all the stocks are palletized and adequate space is available in his section for the consignments that are en-route and stocks that are being offloaded.

Ensures that the records of all out-going and in-coming stocks are filed.

Indents stocks from other respective stores in the different regions to balance and maintains adequate stock levels.

Ensures that Stocks are picked and sorted for delivery according to the delivery schedule and assigns vehicles/vans to carry the consignment as per the set priorities.

Ensures that the Stocks picked reflect the Batch or Expiry Dates mentioned in the Invoice.

Ensures that the stocks are tallied & reconciled on a monthly or weekly basis, as stipulated by the company.

Ensures a thorough knowledge of the characteristics and method of handling the stocks kept in the section.

Ensures that the temperature/storage conditions are recorded and monitored regularly and ensures measures are taken ensure that all personnel adhere to Health, Fire & Safety standards and specifications.

Ensures tour-ready conditions in the warehouse at all time with high level of house-keeping and cleanliness.

Reports all related feedbacks, issues and grievances to the Section-in Charge on a day-to-day basis.
