Title: EXPERIMENTAL STUDY ON ROAD PAVEMENTS BY USING FLY ASH AND BOTTOM ASH

It is a light weight material, as compared to commonly used fill material.

Use of a ashes in road works results in reduction in construction cost by about 10 to 20%.

Replacement of sand by ashes in sub base coarse to attain comparing with that of sand.

Reduces in temperature rise in thick sections.

Effective use of enormous coal waste in road pavements.
