Vendor Development: Assessing the performance of the vendors based on various parameters & criterions such as percentage for rejections, quality improvement rate, timely delivery, specifications, credit terms, competitive rates etc. Overseeing follow-up with vendors for timely deliveries, and quality checks & ensuring timely payments. Monitoring incoming materials supplied by vendors and ensuring they are as per quantity, quality & as per specifications; assisting vendors in the processes and providing them suggestions for improving process efficiency. Training the vendors regarding the company’s HSW( Health Safety & Well being), vendors are bound to follow these safety norms.

Operations Management: Coordinating with all the users like sales team marketing team and other functions for smooth operations. Ensuring Statutory, Internal Audits Management and compliance to refine effectiveness in the entire process.

Team Management: Organizing departmental team building & training sessions for improving staff performance. Strengthening the team, ensured stability while improvising the quality of reporting.

Noteworthy Highlights across the tenure

Implementation of Innovation – Implementation of current trends & technology in SCM to be fair, impartial & upto date. We had implemented e- bidding & Partner Satisfaction surveys to evaluate ourselves on the parameters set & benchmark with other Supply chain managers.

1. Interfacing with contractors and technical teams for managing the supply, installation, configuration, commissioning and maintenance of various telecom equipments including Towers, Shelters, ACs, DGs, Fire & Earth Protection Systems, Active Infra Material.

2. Identifying, developing and negotiating with vendors for timely procurement of systems & equipments in technical adherence to project requirements,

3. Follow Up with Suppliers & Vendors for the dispatch of material at warehouse & BTS Cell sites as per PO Terms & Conditions.

4. Follow Up with Custom Clearance Agents, Freight forwarders and suppliers for timely custom clearance & delivery of Imported items to circle warehouse.

5. Conducting regular audits to ensure that materials received from vendors confirm to pre-set quality standards, analysing rejections and taking corrective actions.

6. Follow up rigorously with NSN Project Team & VEDL Finance Department regarding the release of payments of vendors so that the smooth flow of material Inflow can be maintained.

7. Successful Rollout of New Marketing Warehouse / Centralized Billing Center at Sitapur Road, Lucknow. This project is compromising of Rent negotiation, Civil, Electrical & Interior rollout, Furniture, Racks, DG, AC, EPABX, Access Control & CCTV, Misc Office Equipments (like - Bar Code Scanners, Projector, Air cooler, Water Cooler and Hand Pallet Trolleys, UPS, Fire Detection / Prevention equipment etc).

8. Above mentioned Rollouts are mainly a team work involving many human elements, viz., landlords, SCM group, Nokia Project group, vendors, contractors. Third party inspecting agency, equipment integrating agency apart from Vodafone officials planning, acquiring, regulating, approving and monitoring at various stage of the project.

Spearheaded the gamut of operations encompassing:

• Central billing Centre and warehousing of UPE circle of Vodafone.

• Procurement and Logistics of Rs.500 Million/annum

• Funds Management, & Stock Management, Asset management (Accounting, tracking & verification).
