Duties consist of originating Residential Mortgage Loans for home purchases or refinances. Additional responsibilities include prequalifying all applicants, collecting all required documentation, and coordinating the date and time for the closing.

ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE, Heartland Motor Coach, St. Joseph, Missouri

September 2009 to January 2010. (Company bought, and multiple personnel laid off.)

Solicited and acquired new business throughout the Midwest, while maintaining and servicing current clients. Provided bids and quotes for various individuals, as well as large organizations, high schools, businesses, colleges, travel agencies, and professional sports teams. Was active in several Chambers of Commerce, Convention and Visitor Bureau’s, and Group Trip organizations.

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER, Ascent Home Loans, Denver, Colorado

January 2006 to August 2009. (Office closed.)

Duties consisted of recruiting, hiring, and training Independent Loan Officers and Mortgage Brokers in 5 states, for Net Branch participation. Additional duties consisted of weekly payroll approval; the QC of banked files for submission to Home Office; advised LO's on investor placement for their scenario; weekly training meetings with LO's/Branches on company and investor updates, along with an open forum for questions on investor policies and guidelines.

ASSOCIATE DISTRICT MANAGER, GMAC Mortgage Corp., Wichita, Kansas

August 2004 to November 2005. (Offices Closed Nationwide.)

Responsibilities included opening a new production office in Wichita, KS. Additional duties include training new personnel, facilitating Family First accounts, business development, and product training, while consulting with Senior Management monthly on products, and processing and underwriting improvements.

ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE, GMAC Bank, Overland Park, Kansas

January 2004 to August 2004. (Promoted to District Manager, GMAC Mortgage)

Duties consist of new business development, the training of new brokers on how to do business with GMAC Bank, and being made available for underwriting questions, etc., while researching and solving any problems which might arise in the loan process.

BRANCH MANAGER, Universal Mortgage, Leawood, Kansas

October 2002 - August 2003. (Offices Closed Nationwide)

Supervised all branch operations and 6 employees, while increasing branch volume from 1.5 million to 5 million in just 5 months; making that branch the number one branch in the Midwest region. Implemented all new processes, from loan origination through processing, while having a personal production of 1 million a month in originations.

DISTRICT MANAGER, GB Home Equity, Overland Park, Kansas

March 2001 - October 2002. (Midwest Offices Closed, then all were closed Nationwide)

Duties consisted of overseeing 3 additional Lender Representatives in 3 states (KS, MO, OK), and calling on current and new brokers/bankers while conducting training sessions, and maintaining relationships. Also, consulted with upper management bi-weekly to streamline and improve all processes and procedures, from pre-approvals through closing, and addressing any compliance or broker issues.

LOAN OFFICER, American Equity Mortgage, Fairview Heights, Illinois

February 2000 - February 2001. (Moved back to Kansas City.)

Duties consisted of taking a high volume of phone applications daily, evaluating credit history, and placing customer in appropriate program for either lowest rate or maximum savings, while processing entire file (except for verifications and clauses). In direct contact with customer from origination through closing, while updating customer on status and documentation needed daily. Exposed to all mortgage credit scenarios, including foreclosure and bankruptcy buyouts.

BRANCH MANAGER, ASST. VICE PRESIDENT, Valley View Bank, Kansas City, Missouri

July 1998 - February 2000. (Resigned due to offer from American Equity Mortgage.)

Responsibilities included initial opening and setting up of all branch procedures and processes, the hiring of employees, and business development; all while performing Mortgage and Consumer Loan Officer duties, and monitoring the day to day activities of a staff of 12.

LENDER RELATIONS OFFICER, The Money Store, Kansas City Missouri

August 1995 - July 1998. (Company bought and offices closed nationwide.)

Responsible for the business development of a five state territory in the area of Home Improvement Lending on a correspondent basis - primarily second mortgages and B & C paper. Day to day duties consisted of establishing new account relationships, maintaining current ones, and being made available to answer underwriting questions, or evaluate completed files for accuracy and compliance.

BRANCH MANAGER, ASST. VICE PRESIDENT, Midland Bank Kansas City, Missouri

May 1991 - July 1995. (Bank was sold, and staff was laid off.)

Duties consisted of Mortgage and Consumer Loan origination, pre-qualification, approval and closing. Additionally, hired, counseled, and evaluated employees, and consulted with senior management weekly on the improvement of current policies, procedures, and business development. Wrote and implemented a consumer loan guideline manual and procedures, for use by eight member branches while training all branches in consumer lending. Additional duties consisted of opening/closing accounts, customer service, and new business development.

Served 3 years aboard the USS John F. Kennedy (CV-67), while completing 2 six month tours in the Mediterranean Sea. Honorably Discharged.
