We test the Curriculum for PeopleSoft applications. PeopleSoft is an ERP software application provided by Oracle Corporation. After testing the activities in the Training guides of the above product lines, we deliver Automated Test Scripts and maintain these scripts and test results on Quality Center (QC), so that they can be re-used whenever required for the purpose of Regression Testing. These scripts can also be used to check on the customizations needed to the Activities of a higher release of the application prior to developing the activities of the guide in the new release to save on overall development time.

This project is about developing a synchronized content platform for creating documentation, training, and performance support across the enterprise. The User Productivity Kit(UPK) allows you to create content easily. Content includes simulations, in-application support, and interactive documentation.

Oracle's User Productivity Kit is a simple tool provided by Oracle to capture the navigation or the transaction which the user is to be educated with and reproduce the very same transaction in various formats.

A transaction can be anything starting from applying a leave to applying for a loan through company.

You can capture as many frames as u want (Just like a camera allows you to capture a picture, this is also very same to use)

Roles and Responsibilities

Developed UPK for PeopleTools 8.50 installation. This was very successful and was made a part of the Training path modules for PT8.50. It is now hosted on the site for anyone to access and ` UPK for Portal Solutions 9.1 and Global Payroll 9.1

Project 3: - Production Operations

This project works with Information Developers (IDs) and Managers (IDMs) to convert Enterprise and Enterprise One xml content to HTML, PDF and Kindle formats. The converted products reach our customers via eDelivery and Hosted PeopleBooks.

Throughout the conversion process, Production and the IDs collaborate on resolving xml file issues by reviewing the HTML output. Production runs raw content through the XSL-FO processor or the Arbortext E3 server to generate the first HTML, PDF and Kindle outputs. IDs review the output and resolve technical and content issues before running the files through a second time. After the second run, Production performs a full scroll through of every page to ensure product quality followed by the post production work.
