US Region Drilling Services Asset and Inventory Manager Weatherford International - Houston, TX - January 2015 to March 2016 Collaborated with Regional and Global Product Line Management, Global and Regional Supply Chain Managers to design and execute strategies to improve regional Asset and Inventory management. Monitored, communicated, and reported performance metrics and used the results to drive change across all Drilling Services locations in designated region. Ensured there was a process supporting the identification and use of existing available assets and inventory as part of the inventory replenishment request process and capital/asset request processes. ERP system for assets and inventory was JDE 9.1

Assets

• Worked with Global Service Line managers, Regional Managers and district Product Line managers to define and implement regional tool deployment strategies that maximized the capital / revenue ratio. Managed flow of asset requirements, deployment plans and opportunities, utilization tracking, excess management and timely movements.

• From a regional perspective, optimised the acquisition and/or transfer of new assets in accordance with Product Line and corporate asset processes and targeted turns/utilization. Ensured the US Region's asset base was what was required to maximize revenue, maintain the highest service level and the best return on investment.

• Reported and monitored asset KPIs as required, tracked equipment utilization across the region. Ensured accurate data was entered into the JDE system, and generated monthly utilization reports.

• Asset Turns, Forecasted-Budgeted-Actual capital expenditures, Asset Accuracy and Utilization.

Inventory

• Worked with Country and Region Product Lines to identify and address excess and slow moving inventory. Executed replenishment strategy and Min/Max, Safety Stock rules.

• Worked with all districts to control, redeploy or scrap excess and obsolete inventories. Participated in the execution and reconciliation of complete annual inventory and asset counts as well as monthly cycle counts.

• Optimized the replenishment of inventory following inventory processes, forecast activity and targeted DSI/ turns

• Reported and monitored inventory KPIs as required.

• Inventory Balance, DSI, Inventory Turns, Inventory Accuracy from cycle counts

*Reduced regional inventory level in 2015 by 30% based on redeployment and write-offs Global MWD Asset Manager and Logistics Manager

Weatherford International - Houston, TX - July 2008 to December 2014

• Worked with regional Product Lines to maximize gross margin and streamline business processes to improve operational efficiency, reliability and asset utilization. ERP system was SAP R3, then JDE 9.1.

• Developed and implemented asset management strategy with other regions and the Global Asset Management group.

• Communicated and implemented the overall asset management process to ensure Regions and countries had the asset base necessary to maximize revenue and return on investment while maintaining the highest level of service.

• Planned, managed and reported on $35M yearly capital spend based on Regional, Global product lines and Operations forecasts

• Forecasted and managed manufacturing monthly/quarterly/yearly delivery schedules

• Worked with Repair & Maintenance on asset repair scheduling based on cost and demand

• Worked with the Product Line management and Research & Development Group on new product introduction, product phase out, and product rationalization

• Participated in the execution and reconciliation of the annual asset count at the main Global Deployment facility as well as the monthly asset counts

• Monitored and reported on Global AFE's spend and forecasted deliveries and monthly KPI's based on country, regional and Product Line asset utilization, asset turns and ROA

• Managed central Global Logistics facility, dealing with import/export and asset/inventory part HTS classification

LWD Country Manager

Weatherford International - 北京市 - April 2006 to June 2008 Responsible for managing field activities of up to 20 Field Engineers and a local Coordinator in the operation and maintenance of oilfield surveying downhole equipment.
