¥ CampusSmartCafe Java Application April 2016 As a part of my curriculum in object Oriented Analysis and Design, a group of 2 had to design and build an object model simulation of CampusSmartCafe(CSC) in Java. This application will be used to configure students’ preferences on campus and maintain user dietary and expenditure profiles. Analysis and design have been documented using UML diagrams such as class and use case diagrams. Development was done through Java using concepts like MVC, inheritance, composition, encapsulation and other object oriented features. My team role was to develop the persistence Oracle Database and work on the entity and view classes. I worked with Java Swing extensively and used JSON parsing.

Environment: Eclipse IDE Luna Version Release 2(4.4.2), Java SE8, Oracle Database 11G Express Edition

¥ Yelp Database Challenge Application February 2016 As a part of my curriculum in Database Systems, I worked on the Yelp Database Challenge modified for students. I developed a front end GUI Java application using Java Swing and created a backend through Oracle Database. I Worked on analyzing specifications to understand requirements and developed an E-R diagram for relational database schema using foreign keys and other constraints. Database connectivity was achieved using JDBC connection and the front end was configured through the use of event handlers and listeners.

Environment: Oracle Database 11G Express Edition, NetBeans IDE 8.1

¥ Talent Sourcing Website Development February 2016 Developed a website which serves as a platform for talent sourcing where startup companies can interact with potential employee candidates. Worked on wireframe iterations to design the UI for web application, implementing it with HTML 5.0 and CSS3. Created database and schema for web application with SQL on MAMP server and used PHP to query the database. Used JQuery, AJAX and JSON to connect database to front end in order to dynamically populate the website with user information.

¥ TCP/IP Socket programming September 2015

Implemented the transfer of ASCII and binary files by using SFTP protocol with both TCP and UDP sockets in a client server connection. Worked with byte size manipulation functions, socket descriptors and file I/O functions. Developed a stop and wait protocol algorithm and calculated the checksum in C to check the reliability of the connection.

Environment: GNU C compiler on Ubuntu 14.04.03 Operating System.

¥ Hardware Description of Single Cycle Datapath September 2015 Developed and simulated a Verilog/VHDL design of a microprocessor to execute a single cycle instruction and verified through waveform simulation. Logically created the function of the CPU by programming different modules and connecting them using datapaths.

Environment: Quartus II with Modelsim-Altera along with Cyclone IV on Windows 10.
