PROFESSIONAL PROFILE

Certified Marine Engineer with twenty years of experience onboard: Oil Tanker, Chemical & Product Tanker, Azimuth Thrusters Supplier, Thrusters Tug, Reefer Vessels, DP3, DP2. I possess a high level of organization and detail, and am able to multi-task efficiently and accurately, and prioritize completion of multiple projects. Furthermore, I have been properly trained and supervised assistant engineers to help keep the site safe, as well as organized and running smoothly.

Knowledge theory, long experience and troubleshooting: DP3 and DP2 operation, overhaul and maintenance, emergency drill, thrusters and azimuth overhaul and operations, valves pneumatics & hydraulics, hydraulic and pneumatic control, refrigeration, cranes (until 300 tn), electric systems, cooling systems, bilge systems and oil water separators, incinerators and their associated equipments, vacuum and sewage treatment systems, water maker and RO systems, rotating, centrifuge, pneumatic and alternating pumps, gear boxes, boiler operation and maintenance, turbines, evaporators, winchs, fire systems, repairs and overhaul of hatch covers, turbo chargers, economizer, inert gas (CO2 and Nitrogen), screw compressor.

Installation, adaptation and repair of diesel and heavy fuel engines. Interpret drawings and diagrams hydraulic, electrical, mechanical and pneumatic. Co-ordination all necessary vessel orders for stores, spares, repairs and survey within limits of authority to ensure that vessels remain stocked for safe and efficient operation. Investigation of incidents and recognize the root cause, to make recommendations to prevent a recurrence. Experience preparation and supervision of execution dry-docking repairs, long preservation in machines and equipment, lift boat. Manage the preparation, filing and dispatch of required reports and ensure vessel specifications and equipment details are accurately updated at all times.
