Summary: MTS is the framework application which help to communicate Measurement object (MO’s). MTS engine is the heart of the frame work which helps to communicate between MO’s. Measurement objects are divided into four categories i.e. Visualization, Data processing, Player, and Recorder. MTS application runs on MI4 (Measurement interface) hardware. Customer: Airbus - A380 France and Boeing – B787 USA Responsibilities: Software Requirement Specification, High Level Design, Detailed Design, Coding, Unit Testing, Packaging and problem fixing for Crew Interface (Human Machine Interface) Functionality Summary: The CIT™ tools suit is a Honeywell proprietary tool suit, which consists of chain of tools that are used for Human Machine Interface soft wares for onboard avionics systems. The tools automate the process of requirement capturing, coding and verification along with the User Application Definition File (UADF) file generation for the Cockpit Display System

(CDS). CIT™ consists of following tools:

Crew Interface Development Tool (CIDT)

This tool is a core part of the CIT™ tool suit, which provides a means to define the organization of a page under design, and static display properties. The designed page is saved in XML format. For designing the page widgets are provided graphics of which are rendered using Designer's Work Bench (DWB) tool. “Visual Parser” is used to parse the code developed by the designer in CIDT.

Definition File Generation Tool (DFGT): For a given layer and list of WMT files under this layer, this tool generates Definition file according to the ARINC 661 (A661) protocol for Avionics Display Units. Definition File Checker Tool (DFCT): This tool performs various checks required on the DF file generated by DFGT according to the ARINC 661 (A661) constraints. It generates report file (CRPT) of the checks stating whether the checks has been passed or failed for each layer, each top root container and each widget. Model View and Difference Tool (MVDT): This tool is used to edit and compare the designed pages developed in CIDT tool. Human Machine Interface Table Builder Tool (HMITBT). This tool is used to generate the requirement using the Database and generate the generated code which helps the in boosting the productivity of the User. Data Dictionary Checker Tool (DDCT). This tool is used to verify the code file which is generated from DDG2 tool. This tool takes artifacts and SRD as an input compare these and generate report Integrated Checker Tool Model (iCTM). This tool is used to verify the entire CIT™ tool. Software Requirement tool (SRT). This tool is used to write the system level requirement for Flight Management System. SRT connect with clear case (CC) and store all the information which is created and editable by user in .mhtml format. SRT tool also connect with Clear Quest to get the SCR/AR information.
