UV Cured Tool for Grind/Lap (NSF Project #085576) (Sep. 12-May 16)

Investigated the material properties of different Ultraviolet- curable resin and resin bond specimens.

Studied the kinematic influence on the face grinding process and simulated the trajectories of the workpiece formed on the wheel surface

Analyzed the relation between the applied pressure and the performance of the UV cured resin bond diamond wheel

Proposed and verified the mechanism of UV cured Grind/Lap process

Analyzed the effects of different factors on the RA and MRR by Minitab and built the regression models of RA and MRR in the Grind/Lap process on Al2O3 ceramics

Serialization Design and System Development of Deck Crane Boom (Sep. 10 - Apr. 12)

Calculated the force of deck crane boom under the most adverse working condition

Built micro files to realize different functions like modeling, calculating and analyzing by using ANSYS Parametric Design Language (APDL)

Designed a series of crane booms by using serialization design theory and combining with the force analysis of crane boom

Analyzed the structural strength of the extended booms by using the existent micro files and proved the correctness of this serialization design method

Optimized the series of crane booms to less weight Transportation Device Design for Production Line of Magnesia Board (Sep. 09 – Feb. 10)

Designed the overall blue print and mechanical structure for automatically uploading templet

Organized the work of designers for different parts of the production line. Improved Design of High-Speed Milling Machine for Flat Processing (Apr. 10 – Jul. 10)

Designed a part to realize double sizes milling

Modified the structure for different flat edge angles

Improved overall blue print and mechanical parts in detail to improve the The Structural Strength, Deformation and Dynamics Characteristic Analysis-Numerical Control Transformation for Radial Drill Z3080 (Jan.09 – Aug.09)

Modified the workbench and made it can be rotated to realize a precise positioning

Used Abaqus to analyze the structure strength of drill and improved the structure WORK EXPERIENCE
