Automotive Air conditioning Technology Phils. (AATP) is a well known Japanese manufacturing company of Car air conditioning parts and component assembly which supplies globally to top Japanese automotive industry such as Toyota, Nissan, Mitsubishi, Honda and as well as in some European car’s like Aston Martin and MCLAREN. The company was previously named Sanden Air conditioning Phils (SAP) and in last April 2004 it was registered under PEZA and became an Automotive Air conditioning Technology Phils. (AATP). The company is a certified ISO9002, TS16949,OHSAS and FORD Q1.

Designation : Sr. Factory Manager

Primary Function:

Oversee the overall manufacturing operations (Production, Warehouse/Logistics and PE/PM) to ensure the daily operation targets were met and delivered the right product to the customers on time.

Duties and responsibilities:

Directly reports to VP Manufacturing on production daily results and problems related such as quality issues, parts supply shortage, machine downtime, production process and manpower problems.

Directly supervises the different heads/managers of each department in Production, Ware house/Logistics and PE/PM in the day to day operation and in achieving the daily plan and target.

Improve work standards to meet high productivity and work efficiency targets and sees to it that products are delivered on time.

Ensures the effectiveness of resources and lessen the defects through systematic problem solving analysis /techniques and visualization of daily management(KANBAN system).

Prepare overall monthly reports as a result of day to day operation for submission to VP manufacturing and head office in Singapore and Japan.

Implement Toyota Production Systems programs (TPS), various cost down themes to achieve the high productivity and company objective.

Implement process improvements thru KAIZEN based on existing line condition and meet the objective of having Lean manufacturing condition.

Closely monitors Factory condition using all the parameters and KPI’s to stabilize manufacturing flow ( Machine capacity, KANBAN flow, FIFO system ) and improvement of productivity.

Strengthening daily management and control of the manufacturing operation through GENBAISM ….(ASAICHI meeting and Voice of GENBA ).

Executes strategies to meet department output goals and targets.

Acts as the Sr. manager in charge of the factory ( Production. Warehouse& Logistics, PE/PM) which have a total manpower of 200 personnel divided on two shift operations.

ROUTINE WORK

1.Provide effective leadership including: individual and team goal setting, performance reviews, training and coaching and effectively managing employee performance issues and corrective actions.

2.Supports workforce diversity, quality and safety; and other activities which support individual/department/business objectives.

3.Checking of overall monthly summary reports and each Department KPI’s as a result of day to day operation.

4.Conduct daily production line patrol and attend to regular manufacturing meeting ( ASA-ICHI meeting Area) and ensuring that the whole operation is cost effective.

5.Evaluate / rate work performances of each department (Production, Warehouse and PE/PM ) personnel.

Designation : Manager & Head – Engineering Dep’t

Primary Function :

Oversee product development functions to satisfy customer’s specifications, manufacturability and quality standards of the company.

Duties and Responsibilities :

Prepare Engineering Department plans and programs to address product development requirements for customers, localization of Sanden Programs and process design for manufacturability and quality of production and installation.

Monitor all Engineering activities with regards to new A/C development localization, process improvements and cost reduction projects.

Prepare A/C development schedule for the model to be developed. Ensure that engineering schedules are properly followed.

Implement Engineering Standards with regards to design and development.

Coordinate closely with customers/car manufacturers as far as A/C development is concerned.

Coordinate / meet with suppliers and other departments for localization prototyping of materials.

Oversee the presentation of Bill of Materials (BOM) of imported parts for the all newly developed A/C system.

Approve all manufacturing drawings for production and installation requirements.

Regularly check the Bill of Materials (BOM) of new development models and the overall project costs to ensure that the development expenses are always within the planned budget.

Team up with Marketing Department, Inventory Planning and Purchasing Section to coordinate the preparation of samples for development requirements with Sanden Japan and other Sanden fronts.

Prepare development reports as far as A/C development and improvements of Sanden product and process

are concerned.

> Provide Cost down Activity themes related to VAVE such as Process Improvement, Material change, Design Change…etc

Routine Work :

Preside the technical and development meetings (DR- Meetings) with other departments concerned.

Give suggestions to Product Development team for A/C development and to process Development team for further improvements in production and installation processes.

Evaluate / rate work performance of engineering personnel.

Others :

Support the technical training plans of Marketing services in ATP products introduction, installation, service repairs and other services that may be required by customer.

Supports the company in its advocacy to a safety & healthy working environment by adhering to Safety & Health policies, rules and regulations.

Perform other tasks that may be assigned by the immediate superior.

ROHM ELECTRONICS PHILIPPINES, INC.

Peoples Technology Complex, Special Economic Zone, Carmona, Cavite City, Phils.

ROHM is an electronics Japanese manufacturing company that produces various Micro Chips resistors and PCB assembly boards that uses and supplies for a giant electronics companies ( Panasonic, Sony, Toshiba, Sharp, Samsung, LG..etc) and including the automotive manufacturing industries. Designation : Assistant Manager – QC Department MCR Division

Duration : (February 09, 2002 ~ August 13, 2002 )

Acts as the manager In charge of MCR Division`s Quality Control Department, which has a total manpower of 38 personnel, divided on two shift operations.

Responsible for the implementation of all QC related policies so as to assure attainment of company targets.

Prepares quality documents reports for daily/weekly/monthly submission to head Office at Fukuoka, Japan, including claim reports.

Closely coordinates with Group Leaders in doing and preparing quality control activities to make it sure that the quality standards of the products are being follow at all times and achieve the zero target customer claim.

Formulate annual and middle term QC business plans towards the attainment of corporate rules.

Conduct Quality System training and Analysis ( Measurement System analysis, 7QC tools, Quality Circle, KANBAN system, 5WHY Analysis and FIFO ).

Attends to and monitors plant adherence to established work standards and procedures.

Provides direction to subordinates for sustaining improved performance.

Coordinate regularly to the different Heads in Production Department so as to assure quality-conscious and defect-free production flow.
