Vice-President and Senior Special Assets Officer and member of team responsible for management of the EverBank - acquired Bank of Florida Commercial Real Estate Portfolio. The Portfolio was managed under three FDIC Loss Share Agreements executed in May 2010and at acquisition the Portfolio totaled approximately $1 billion in real estate secured credits.

Primary responsibilities included the management and work out of the Bank of Florida – Tampa Bay Commercial Real Estate Portfolio. Managed Bank of Florida – Ft. Lauderdale and Bank of Florida – Naples acquired credits as well as EverBank originated (legacy) credits. Objective was to determine the best course of action for the bank to take based on the valuation and performance of the asset, the borrower(s) and the guarantor(s).

Day to Day responsibilities included valuation, cash flow analysis, and the determination of marketability of a variety of commercial real estate asset classes including commercial office, medical/office, large condominium, gas stations, retail centers, industrial and commercial flex space, multi-family projects, and commercial land.

In four months during 2011, recovered approximately $8.5 million of principal in the portfolio – approximately 88% of the annual goal based upon portfolio value.

Calendar year 2012 recovered approximately $26.5 million of principal in the portfolio equating to 104% of annual principal recovery goal and 102% of NPA reduction goal.

Calendar year 2013 exceeded annual goal in NPA reduction through resolution and/or principal recovery totaling over $34 million.
