Home health care - Duluth, MN - July 2013 to October 2015 Responsibilities

Caring for six vulnerable adults in their daily lives. For example, cooking, cleaning, bathing, feeding, med administration.

I was also involved in the office at Hillside Homes. My duties included answering phones, facing medical records to doctors, updating clients medical and personal charts, updating annual and quarterly reports, speaking with doctors, guardians and QMRPs regarding clients and attending annual client meeting to discuss improvements to the clients health and well being. Accomplishments

I believe I brought the quality of life for the clients up a great deal. Their attire was old and out of dat and I went shopping for all of them to update their wardrobes so they could be well put together citizens as they do deserve. Guardians applauded me for this action because no one else to the initiative to do so. I also gave guardians and doctors thorough and honest opinions of clients health and well being at their current dwellings and was greatly applauded for my candidacy on these issues. Skills Used

I demonstrated leadership and initiative skills at this job that I honestly did not know was in me. I demonstrated team work skills as I would try to get other employees to join in on making the lives of these clients better. Upscale Hotel - Duluth, MN - June 2014 to May 2015 Responsibilities

Front desk manager; hiring/firing front desk staff, making sure all staff were properly trained and filling their reservation quotas, fixing customer complaints or discrepancies, answering phones for promoters, setting up training sessions with front desk staff, making schedules and doing time cards, front desk night audit periodically, meet with owners and supervisor to discuss hotel revenue and staff productivity. Accomplishments

As the owners stated it, when I put in my 1 month notice, they were sad to see me go as I made the front desk employees have to reach to a higher standard or quality care for the guests. They stated that they had big shoes to fill in my place. I was also employee of the month all but 3 months working there and on their company website, many guests reported that I was an exceptional leader and staff member who made their stay above and beyond what they expected.

Office skills, interpersonal skills, customer care skills, problem solving skills, I gained a great deal of work ethic from this positions, computer skills, sales skills, and managerial skills because I had people looking to me for answers and I was last resort so if I couldn't figure it out it would have had to go higher to hotel supervisor.
