•Vital Signs: Blood pressure, pulse, temperature and respiration monitoring. Manual and electronic vital signs.

•Peri/Catheter Care: Draining of catheter bags and charting. Assured patient is freshened and check patients every two hours.

•Turning of bedridden patients: Performed to take weight off of pressure points and prevent bedsores from occurring.

•Relaying and charting requested information: This may include moods, vital signs assist with meal consumption, liquid intake, and daily BM and urine amounts.

•Bathing and dressing of patient: Bathing may take place in the form of a bed bath, shower, or tub.

•Ambulation Assistance: Some patients need help getting in and out of beds, wheelchairs, bathtubs, etc.

•Toileting of patients. Oftentimes patients will need help with moving on and off of facilities. Some patients may need help with a bed pan.

•Meals: Patient feeding responsibilities. Some patients will require direct feeding, while others may just need their meal tray brought to them and set up.

•Changing bed clothes and collecting soiled laundry.

•Cleaning: Organizing and cleaning patient’s rooms and/or areas.
