OMBUDSMAN EDUCATION MARCH, 2015-JUNE, 2016

My duties include enrolling all new students’ information into the following programs: DMEX, A+ Program, Reading Plus, Lexia, Gradpoint and Odysseyware. I was responsible for entering all students’ courses into the above programs and printing the syllabi to match courses.

I was also responsible for printing students’ schedules and grades from their homeschool using the JCampus School Board Program. My position included assisting teachers with administrative work as deemed necessary. I also assisted students with classwork, test and printing necessary curriculum paperwork as needed.

On a weekly basis I graded students work, test and entered grades into their binder and the Podio Program. My duties also include removing students from all the above mentioned programs and archiving information when they return to their home school, filing paperwork, extracting information concerning students as requested.

I was in charge of issuing STAR Reading and Math testing to all the students when they are enrolled and again when they leave. I also problem solved any issues with the computer programs, or internet as needed and make decisions to correct them in a timely manner.

I was offered a full-time position as Administrative Assistant in March 2006 and was later promoted to Executive Assistant to management. The duties I performed included the following: answering multi-line phone system, assisting management and supervisors as necessary, applying for federal grants using the TEAM Website, coordinating with the Federal Transit Administration to complete, submit and execute grants, performing all the receptionists duties upon her absence for vacation and illnesses, responsible for weekly Staff Meeting Minutes, gathering, coordinating and typing all information for the Resident Manager to assemble his management renewal contract for five years with the City of Shreveport, gathered and assembled all necessary information required by FTA for the Triennial Review Report and Title VI Report, which is required by the federal government every three years, maintaining daily spreadsheets for the six Night Service routes which included ridership, revenue, planning and coordinating all special events and holidays as needed.
