documents (i.e., SP23 Change Requests [SCRs], Problem Reports [PRs]) are incorporated if requested; verifying content requirements against applicable documentation standards; checking classification markings and distribution statements in classified documents; and checking U.K. documents for proper warning statements and markings. Enters all review comments and changes into the Format Review Form and submits to the author for resolution. Incorporates applicable changes as requested by the author.

Performs Signature Reviews (a high-level, cursory review) for all internal and external documents.

Schedules and tracks documentation through all phases of the publication cycle. Interfaces with the K40 and K50 technical staff to ensure accuracy of documentation effort. Uses IBM Rational Synergy to prepare and place engineering documentation in software configuration management. Provides technical support to the A10/A20 DGS Intranet using Adobe DreamWeaver. Manages and maintains all System Engineering Development Folder (SEDF) pages; organization, process, policy, and infrastructure information web pages; and the A10/A20 Personnel Listing on the A10/A20 intranet. Creates and modifies templates for project SEDF pages and corporate web pages. Executes and modifies Java and Perl scripts to perform routine automated tasks for web maintenance, management, and metrics. Completes all web support requests and logs all changes to the web infrastructure as changes occur and updates are made. Provides A10/A20 Intranet training to A10/A20 personnel. Serves as a member of the Information Management System Working Group (IMSWG) that was tasked to research, select, test, and implement a web Content Management System (CMS) to replace the current A10/A20 Intranet interface.

Used Interleaf (QuickSilver) on a UNIX-based DGS and MS Word on the Windows Terminal Server

(WTS) to edit and incorporate changes to K40/K50 software development documentation, including Software Design Documents (SDDs), Software Requirement Specifications (SRSs), formulation documents, software design plans, software test plans, and user’s guides. Generated files that show redlined differences by using QuickSilver’s Revision Tracking, Word’s Track Changes, or Database Publishing Software’s Compare. Also provided technical support for QuickSilver products to SLBM and contractors. Updated the MS PowerPoint templates, which are used to create K40/K50 presentation slides, in accordance with K40/K50 Instruction 5600.4, K40/K50 Guidelines for Creating Presentations. Created and updated graphics using QuickSilver and PowerPoint.

Generated draft or final Portable Document Format (PDF) files from QuickSilver or Word documents using Adobe Acrobat. Upon author’s request, placed the PDF files into the Corporate File System (CFS) Document Repository for Intranet access. Upon authors’ requests, assembled documents for signature review and tracked documents through the signature review loop to release. Also, prepared released documents for reproduction and distribution to the Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) library. Used the Process Configuration Management System (PCMS) to control and maintain documents through their lifecycles, from the draft state through the distribution state. This task included creating token documents (TDOCs), updating the Lead Reviewer’s Assessment (LRA) report if requested, creating the tar files, and actioning items through the appropriate states. Conducted introductory QuickSilver Books and Catalogs training for personnel new to SLBM documentation. The training involved hands-on instruction for using QuickSilver catalogs and templates designed specifically in accordance with K40/K50 Instruction 5600.1M, NSWCDD SLBM Software Documentation Standards and Guidelines, and SSP OD 61596, NSWCDD SLBM Software Development Process.
