OBJECTIVE

Dear Manager, I am sending this resume in hope that your firm is currently having a job opening for a Land Survey Drafter.

I graduated from CalPoly Pomona as a Civil Engineer in 1998 and have been working with a land surveying company for 17 years. The very first experience of my land surveying career was spent in the field holding the rod, putting 2x2’s in the ground and drawing field notes for my party chief. I was later exposed to document research, map preparation, boundary analysis and finally received my Land Surveyor License in the State of California (LS8320) in 2007.

It was a difficult decision to make when I had to relocate back to my hometown in Bangkok, Thailand soon after receiving the License. It was difficult because there was no Surveying profession in Thailand. I thought about it and called my previous boss back in the States and finally got him to agree for me to work at home doing boundary calculations and preparing maps on a part-time basis for him. I have been doing office land surveying duties on the weekends while having a full time job as an Engineering Manager for a local Thai Engineering Company.

I would like to offer the services through our newly formed company, JTCAD Company Limited. We currently have 2 draftsmen helping with the drafting work and 1 administrator working on our small team.
