Autonomous Course Navigation and Ball Launcher Robot o Acted as Project Manager of a team of Mechanical Engineers in the design of a completely self-driving robot capable of navigating a wooden, inclined course and accurately launching a golf ball off the end at least two feet o Worked extensively with SolidWorks CAD software to create Ackerman steering design configurations and perform FEA tests o Used drivetrain analysis results to select proper motor and gear ratio for purchasing o Interfaced with LabVIEW software to dictate controller behavior based on sensors, motor drivers, servo, and encoder I/O Thermodynamic System Team Research Report
