Academic Projects

Employee Management Portal:

I have worked with my fellow classmates on this project, to build an employee management portal for a firm in India. The main idea behind the project was to let an employee login to the system, update his profile details, enter timesheets, view pay checks, etc. The project was built on c#.net, and the backend database was done on SQL server.

Complaint System Data Manipulation:

This was my final semester project, where I took a dataset of hospital data complaints. I analysed the data and cleaned the data such that I could do data mining on top of it. I applied two algorithms, one is the Kmeans which does an analysis on the dataset and predicts the solution on any other dataset. Second, Knearest which I created a cluster of the data and compared it with the actual data.

Automation testing of FinishLine website:

I created a Selenium automated test code which when run would select various components of the website, cover various scenarios and check if the test case passed or failed. Some of the test cases involved, signing up and getting confirmation code picked from an automated mail triggered to Gmail and finish of the signing up.

Data Analysis and Cleansing:

Wrote a program in RStudio which would gather the data from Twitter looking for the keywords of JAVA and Python. The entire tweets were loaded as a text file in RStudio. On the basis of the tweets found the most talked about programming language by cleansing the tweets and re-organizing the twitter data.

CISCO general lab setup:

Worked with a team to help build and configure a basic lab for students to practice for their CCNA lab training. Worked on configuring 1 router, 2 switches and a local host to setup a basic environment.
