Duties:-Supervision of deck crew and assistant cr-op. loading, unloading from boats. Issuing of equipment to deck personnel and responsible for the cleanliness and general maintenance on the rig. I do visual inspections of the cranes and wires and report my findings to the chief engineer. I liaise with the chief engineer and electrician on maintaining and performance of the cranes. I am responsible for the issuing of work permits, daily, weekly and monthly P.M’s and all the relevant paperwork associated. I take an active role on the health and safety side, ensuring that all jobs are done safely and comply with the relevant policies and procedures. I am also a HLO, Coxswain, MOB, and Fire team leader.

July 2000 – July 2005 NOBLE Drilling Ass. Crane Operator Duties:-I started as a roustabout and progressed to a roughneck before been given an opportunity to be trained up to assistant crane operator. I achieved this and spent three years as an assistant, aiding the crane operator in carrying out his duties as well as studying different kinds of management styles.

June 1994 – July 2000 Able Seaman on cargo ships

Duties: - I assisted in the loading and unloading of cargo, carried out banks man duties and slinging. I worked with VHF radios and carried out general duties. Foreign languages and special skills

My native language is Lithuanian, but I can also speak and write fluently in Russian and English. I also have a grasp of Polish and German. I am computer literate and can pick up program knowledge with ease. I can operate the word, excel and STAR systems.

Activities and interests

I enjoy most kind of physical fitness, but I regularly go running and swimming, and enjoy team games like basketball. I am also a practical person and enjoy DIY, I also like to play chess and read when time allows.
