Since JULY 12 working with QATAR PETROLEUM REFINERY, Mesaieed, Qatar as INSTRUMENT TECHNICIAN through contractor hire.(GALFAR AL MISNAD,DOHA,QATER)

The Company: Qatar Petroleum Refinery is one of the largest crude refineries in Qatar to produce refined petroleum products such as LPG, Gasoline 90R & 87R, Petrochemical feed stock (Petro Naptha), Jet A1, LGO, Marine Fuel Oil and Sulphur. It is having old crude refinery, new crude refinery, RFCC (Reformer Fluidized Catalyst Cracker) and Condensate refinery plants with total capacity of around 150000 barrels/day

•DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDED

•Well experienced in Maintenance, Project and Commissioning of state of the art Instrumentation / Automation systems, in Oil and Gas Industry.

•Have proven expertise in working Onshore locations.

•Well acquainted with working in multinational and multicultural environment, having adequate exposure to international and domestic petrochemicals Industry.

•Effective communicator with excellent leadership and man management skills.

•Adept at working on software MS Office.

•Work order preparation on line using Maximo, SAP, UNISUP System and Work permit preparation accordingly work orders. Spare part request and Breakdown/ preventive maintenance Report maintain as per procedure.

•Providing technical support for safe operation of plant functionality of DCS and PESD

•Preparation and testing of logical sequence and interlocks in start-up and shutdown, based on cause and effect diagram.

•Effective corrective maintenance at breakdown period in PESD system, complex loops logic and replacement of I/O and associated modules.

•Attended call out duties for Trouble shooting and plant start up.

•Knowledge of P& ID diagrams, ladder Logic diagrams, flow chart for trip, plant Inst. location drawing, wiring diagram, cable schedules, Inter connection Drawing., loop drawing, Relay & Gate Logic system diagrams, Hook up drawing, Hydraulic system for sub sea /hydraulic valve On/Off and control valve. Maintenance and its diagram, etc. working with Foxboro DCS and Triconex PLC,

•Involved in day-to-day preventive maintenance for field instruments, individually and in a team. Inspection, calibration, loop simulation based on ISO procedure & standards.

•Co-ordination with operation, preparing equipment for maintenance & returning to safe service.

•Good experience in case study of plant & modification implementation to avoid failure repetition, excellent skill in fault analysis and rectification in control system and field device.

•Having Good knowledge in servicing & calibration of smart instrument devices with HART compatibility on line and offline for Pressure, level, Temperature, Flow measuring instruments (It includes micro processor based valve positioners mesoneilan SVI II AP) and servicing, calibration of pneumatic, hydraulic, motor operated valves and accessories (Positioners, Booster relay, lock up relay, transfer valves and position transmitters).

•Having good knowledge of calibration & maintenance of ENRAF Tank Gauging system.

•Preventive maintenance of NIGATA loading arm for LNG loading and function checks of hydraulic PERC actuation system and multipoint hydraulic mooring remote hook releasing system.

•Troubleshooting & Servicing of Rotork, AUMA (MOV) IQ actuator. All kind of valve maintenance.

•Have Good knowledge of fault diagnostics in logic & carried out online & offline integrated test in HIPS system. Partial stroke test on valve and periodic test of SOV. Isolation procedure with special key to isolate valve for test of Transmitters.

•UV/IR flame detector maintenance, faultfinding, servicing and replacement of flame scanners and flame amplifiers.

•Day to day maintenance of rotating equipment’s protective control system such as GE MARK-V-VI supertonic systems, Bentley Nevada Vibration Monitoring systems and CCC Surge protection systems.

•Periodic checks carried out in trip loops (2 out of 3 voting) and status confirmation, alarm simulation and verification.

•Shutdown, start up sequence checking, monitoring the status in DCS and answer back confirmation.

•Bentley Nevada vibration-monitoring systems probe installation and Calibration of probes and Monitors with TK3.

•Shift duties for Instrumentation Maintenance & troubleshooting. Experienced in the validation & maintenance of Analytical and Physical Properties Analyzers.

•During the period of my work experience I have been associated with commissioning & Maintenance. Calibration of all types of Pneumatic Electronics Instrument of process plants.

•During the period of my experience with various fields I have used different makes Calibrators, simulators, tools.

•Worked for different type of Analytical Instrument, Analyzer of all over the plant also Gas sampling system, Worked for Water Mist system and its periodic test, Carried out PM Job with Technician team and report preparation for record.
