I am writing to inquire about the availability of suitable positions in your laboratory. I have completed Ph.D in Food Science

from Defence Food Research Laboratory, University of Mysore, Mysore,

2008. The topic of my research work was “Studies on starch fractions

of finger millet and its functionality in processed foods”. I have 14 years of experience in research and development and new product development and brand management .

Have worked with research and development and product formulation for 14yrs and the work comprises of Sustainable proteins in product formulations in Columbus Ohio, Abbott nutrition USA. The primary function is to design and drive product development innovation. The formulation of successful commercial nutritional matrices that meet designed specifications of consumer needs. Formulate the product at the bench, will also prepare documentation for scale up to a pilot/commercial scale and support these production runs using spreadsheets, formulation databases and other applicable systems. Qualified sensory panel member with certification, to carry out sensory panel for ingredient qualification, new product development and consumer studies.

My Master thesis included formulation of low cost Enteral foods and

its clinical trials on clinically ill patients. The formulated feeds

were ready to use on reconstitution with warm water. PER values of the

blends were found to be high which incites that the protein status of

the patients can be maintained. The constituted formulae provided 1K

cal /ml. The enteral feeds enriched with glutamic acid appeared to be

beneficial for prevention and control of infections by their immune

modulatory property to critically ill patients. Tolerance is satisfactory to enteral

nutrition.

I have hands on experience with advanced instrumental techniques

such as Near Infra Red Analyser, Differential Scanning Calorimetry

(DSC), Gas Chromatography, Image Analyser and other semiautomatic

analysers for protein and fibre. Statistical software analysis for the

product development and optimization.
