Senior Training Coordinator/ Diamond Offshore Drilling, Inc. 03/2005-11/2013

Provided proactive administrative support, using time management skills to, coordinated training and licensing classes to obtain and further maintain competency of offshore employees, hence supporting Human Resources department.

Using Oracle and Excel, created detailed budget reports, expedited goals to support company financials, secure status of offshore compliance, and employee training competency reports.

Performed cost-saving measures by creating “onshore” verses “on the rig” training dates for mandatory safety training and operator contractual requirements, within specific/ preferred time-lines.

Facilitated relief of company receptionist to ensure multi-line phone calls were answered and guests professionally greeted; sought after parties notified, and signed for UPS and FedEx packages.

Operations Secretary/ Diamond Offshore Training, Inc. 07/1998-03/2005

Supported thirteen Operations managers and their three Area managers, utilizing computer skills, creation of expense reports, rig projects documents, and managing employee lists to allow management’s focus on offshore priorities.

Using Excel, utilized coordination and distribution of daily Rig Summary reports for executive meetings to review precious day’s rig operations in Gulf of Mexico.

Project Secretary/Diamond Offshore Drilling Inc. 03/1998-07/1998

Performing duties as administrative assistant, duties included providing support for multiple project managers and engineers to allow for larger operations to be completed for the project.

Specific clerical tasks of making copies of rig change drawings from GIS-CAD printers, distribution of documentation to team members, and final drafts delivered to library.

Other secretarial duties to assist project team included: maintaining project team contact list, reserving meeting rooms, catering, ordering & maintaining office supplies, shipping and receiving of many UPS FedEx packages, and managed/ maintained engineering files.
