While logging things required by engineering labs would be identifying color, sand or clay type, look for natural things such as the sample containing Iron (Fe), Root, Clay stone, Calcareous (Ca), smell, penetrometer for sample hardness, if water is hit steps for that process includes three separate water readings in 5 minute intervals.

Lifting heavy equipment’s such as bags of concrete, hole plug, quick gel, asphalt, and sand (for setting up piezometers), augurs, excess dirt from drilling to maintain neatness for neighborhood that the company is currently working in.

Maintaining drillers rigs/vehicle

Main goal is to do what the driller can’t do due to limited mobility

Ex. Drillers at the control panels can’t do certain things without staying efficient so it’s my job to be the “extra arms” or to have the next step to continue drilling anticipated and ready to complete the boring holes further.
