Steering gear,automatic control systems

Fluid flow and charecteristics of lubricating oil,fuel and cooling systems

Purifier,deck machinery,main engine and associated auxiliaries,auxiliary prime movers and associated systems

Operation of bilge,ballast and cargo pumping systems,oily water separetors(or similar equipment ) requirements and operation

Operation and maintenance of machinery including pumps and piping systems

Electrical motors including starting methodologies,preparing,starting,paralleling and changing over generators

Use of various types of sealants and packings,use of hand tools machine tools and measuring instruments,safe working practices

Project Work:

Sulphur dioxide sox and Nitrogen oxide nox pollution controlling mechanisms used in marine diesel engines
