Weatherford International 12/2014 – Present

Manufacturing Manager

Manage and control all aspects of the production facility including production of product, materials procurement, shipping, receiving and quality control.

Determine overall direction and vision for the facility.

Responsible for inventory and warehouse management and development of a true FIFO process for both incoming material and product processing.

Determine staffing levels, monitor facility performance and reports status to the GBU Manager.

Prepare capital and operating budgets and allocates resources to meet department and company needs. Successfully, hired and trained all personnel responsible for implementing a 3rd shift.

Responsible for facility safety adhering to OSHA regulations and overall improvement from 5 incidents in 2014 to zero in 2015 and nearly a year without any Recordable or lost time incident.

Assists in developing policies and procedures for the facility to include a no-fault attendance policy, as well as development and roll-out of shop rules. These initiatives resulted in a 20% to 5% absentee rate and reduction of HR related issues to zero for all of 2015

Production Supervisor

One of the core management team hired to facilitate the layout, staffing and implement successful production launch at a new manufacturing plant in Palmetto, FL.

Assigned and reassigned employees to jobs in accordance with established classifications and practices to meet detailed shop schedules and ensure that individual performance levels and specific production requirements were met.

Recommend additions and reductions to the workforce which were commensurate with the workload.
